‘For book lovers, by book lovers’
As one of the largest fiction and non-fiction book publishers in the UK, Pan Macmillan has approximately 4.5% of the UK publishing market share. TheTin provided strategic advice, creative direction and technical development in the redevelopment of their website.
Briefed to create a site that would fulfill the business directive of adding value to its products and services, developing new customer relationships and generating revenue through the sale of books, TheTin delivered a website that puts the reader at the heart of the experience.
Working with branding consultancy Marshall Overy, TheTin created a new online identity as well as the visual style for the navigation and main areas of the site. The development process included extensive usability and accessibility testing and comprehensive functional and technical systems specifications were produced. Fulfilment, data-source and payment processing systems were integrated with complex templates being incorporated into the Content Management System, covering all the different areas of the site delivered.
Contemporary Style
SCP is leading manufacturer and retailer of contemporary furniture and required an easily updatable online product catalogue to demonstrate the array of products they stock.
Working closely with all departments a design-led, user-friendly site was developed and integrated with TheTin's content management system to allow for administrative control of the site content. More recently, an e-commerce facility has also been added.

One of London’s leading contemporary furniture retailers, Twentytwentyone needed a manageable product catalogue to display the vast range of products available and a fully e-commerce enabled website.

Cult luxury
Jane Carr is a fashion brand dedicated to the creation of luxury hand-printed garments and accessories. The brand launched in 2005 with a luxury accessories range and was immediately heralded as a coveted cult-label by fashion editors, a celebrity clientele and international devotees.
With a brief to create a distinctive online presence for the label’s latest collection and to introduce an e-commerce facility along side the new collection launch, TheTin worked closely with Jane and her team to create her first online presence and one that truly reflected the key attributes of the label.
